Junior DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team.

As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a team where you will expand on your skills and gain experience in the software development process. You will work with our senior developers, who will be supporting you in solving various technical problems, and at the same time give you insights into the non-technical side of the work we do.

Depending on the project you will be following different software development methodologies like Agile and will be applying the industry’s best practices. You will be provided with enough specifics on the assigned tasks so that you can work autonomously and deliver them on time and with high quality.

What will be your responsibilities

  • responsible for writing the automation of infrastructure and maintaining it.
  • correlate with other teams to make sure that the client’s infrastructure is up to date and that any malfunctions are avoided
  • responsibility for the deployment and monitoring of distributed software solutions in the cloud or in our client’s proprietary infrastructure

Apply if you meet the following requirements:

  • Background in Linux/Unix Administration
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using different programming tools
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services
  • Experience with SQL and MySQL
  • A working understanding of code and script (Bash, Java, PHP, Python, Perl and/or Ruby)

What else would be an advantage?

  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up
  • Experience with AWS and Google Cloud
  • Experience with Docker or some other container technology
  • Experience with Jenkins or some other CI service
  • experience in test automation and test execution
  • fluent English
